This is young software, built with love and still growing. Features will appear, change shape, and occasionally fall over. We'll treat your data with the care described in the privacy page at every stage — but expect rough edges, and tell us when you find one.
Everything here — bios, pin labels, links, custom pin names, art — is seen by real people who trusted someone enough to accept a friend request. Don't use those little text boxes to harass, threaten, or creep anyone out. Don't use the map to make anyone feel watched; it's built so you can't follow anyone precisely, and the spirit matters as much as the engineering.
When you tick "this is a photo of me," that's a real promise, and we build on it: the whole avatar machine assumes the face is yours to give. Don't upload other people, exes, celebrities, or kids. Photos that aren't a clear photo of just you get rejected, and abusing the attestation is grounds for losing the account.
Don't be someone you're not — not by handle, not by display name, not by face. Parody accounts, "reserved" names for other people, and borrowed identities all break the one thing this site runs on: knowing who your people are.
We can remove content and, when needed, whole accounts that break these terms or make the place unsafe — abusive text, stolen faces, malicious links, impersonation. We'd rather write to you first, and mostly we will, but we don't promise a hearing before removing something actively hurting someone.
Your words and your photo stay yours. The avatars the machine draws for you are yours to keep and use wherever you like — they're of you, after all. Delete them, or the whole account, whenever you want; the privacy page explains how completely that works.
The site is provided as-is, with no warranty of any kind — not of uptime, accuracy, or fitness for any purpose. And one honest caution: the map is deliberately vague. Nobody's pin is where they actually are; it's where they roughly said they were, possibly weeks ago. Never rely on it for anything where precision or freshness matters — it was built not to have either.
